Dedicated to the memory of T-belle

This site is a tribute to our wee T-belle, born on November 7th, 1989.

Updated 1 January 2021 and 23 July 2021

Our wonderful, adventurous, energetic, smart, funny, beautifully spirited Tara died very suddenly and peacefully in her sleep on Sunday 26 July 2020. Caused by complication from her 25 years as a type 1 Diabetic.

That weekend Tara was looking after the dog of very good friends. She messaged on Saturday to say what a great day she’d had, and how much she was looking forward to her own puppy arriving in a week.

Tara lived life to the full! (And we love that you are a part of her amazing story)

We are not flowers and cards people, and instead are setting up this Webpage where we’d love for you to share your versions of Tara.

We are all so very grateful to you all for your various contributions to Tara’s tribute. We are astounded by the impact our wee Tara had on so many.

To laugh often and much; to win the respect of the intelligent people and the affection of children;
to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends;
to appreciate beauty;
to find the beauty in others;
to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition;

We recall the precious moments, we rewind the films in our heads, we remembered those rambling voice messages, we laugh about all your different levels of soul searching questions, “If you could only have one vegetable for the rest of your life…”.

But oh how we long to see your name and number when the phone rings or pings a message in, to hear your laugh, to feel your enveloping hug, listen to your latest triumph or mishap.
These memories you gave us will be with us forever.

She is much loved, so missed and will always be remembred.
