Tazzy. It has taken me some time to try and find what I want to say and I still don’t feel my words are sufficient. Life is a strange thing where you weave in and out with people. Those first four years you and I spent together in London, finding our professional and personal feet, means we share formative experiences that I will remember forever. From Burns nights to Santa Con to social baths and brunches with the St Andrews girls to coming to my special place of Galway you were just an immediate addition to my friendship group and I to yours. Waking up after too many work drinks at Claire’s in Brixton, Sunday roasts with Kerry and the crew in West Norwood, drinks at Frank’s in Peckham with Connor and pals and posh kebab dinners with Susan, I am so grateful to have experienced the openness in which we let each other into our lives. You were an absolute unique, warm and joyful light and life was just that bit better with you in it. You probably aren’t meant to say this however not everyone has that magic touch that you did and all my friends have been heartbroken to hear this news. Geography meant we hadn’t touched base in the way I wish we had in some time but I always thought life would bring us back together again.
